more Japanese stuff...

Last post I had Hartfield....now I'm gonna have another Shoegaze act from Japan.

This band is called Dive, and this is their album Freeze Frame ++ EP......

This band's alot more diverse in their sound. They have some dub beats and alot of trippy reverb on the tracks.

Song Recommendations - "2:00 AM","Freeze Frame","Reverberation"
(Use Google language tools to translate site,Japanese and all.)

The next band is more post-rock oriented (alongside more current)...this band is called Te' (Tokyo,JPN).

and I give you both their long titled albums...

1. "Then, freed from the sense of sound, the sound of the world to tell the abyss." (2006)

2. "It is a practical blaring from the sound of the world's OUTO song, a thought." (2007)

The songs are also long titled,so just give a listen to both albums and see what you think.

Early Morning Artists - Hartfield & m3m3

I come back to you live from my computer room at 2:06 on a Monday morning to bring you a couple new uploads.

The first one comes from the band Hartfield(Shoegaze/Dreampop from Japan) with their amazing album,True Color,True Lie.....

The fuzzy guitars remind me of My Bloody Valentine on their songs, which is awesome.

also here's one of their videos from a song they did on their first EP via YouTube called Today Forever...

Songs Recommended - "Reason","Girl Like You","She Bangs","Nineball","Blow Away"
(MySpace)
(Lastfm)

And the 2nd upload is from London ambient/post rock band m3m3 with their album Beata 133t.1...

their sound's very reminiscent of bands like Godspeed You Black Emperor and Mogwai....but they have that ambient feel in a couple of their songs....alongside a hint of such oddball stuff like Battles.

Songs Recommended:"Commuting To A Same Place","Si Se Puede"
(MySpace)
(Lastfm)

Bedtime?...I think so....waiting for the uploads does that to you.

till next time.

-Mikey
